WHAT?
We have tried to create the perfect setting for beginners and pros alike in the beautiful Trussy farm. We have several flocks of sheep, both calm and experienced ones (Suffolks) for beginners, and more flighty ones (Solognotes) for the advanced dogs. We have about 20 hectares of small and large fields, woody, hilly and flat ones, with different obstacles and courses, a river for the dogs to cool themselves off in and a full agility course for the breaks.
You can come to train for a few hours, alone or with friends, or stay for a few days and make a holiday out of it. If you want to, we are happy to let you help out with the regular farm work, such as moving the sheep through villages and between fields, and we can also help you participate in herding trials during your stay here. There is also a wide range of non-sheep related day-activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, such as visits to Paris, Versailles, Chartres and the gardens of Monet.
If you want to work more intensely, we regularly organise clinics with
coaches such as Aled Owen, Henrik Nilsson & Mike Hall (some info here), as well as herding and agility trials. If you come with a group of friends or customers, we are happy to arrange a one- or several day training program for example combining agility or herding or working on specific aspects. Don't hesitate to
contact us and let us know what you would like to do!
