Have you already tried it and are looking for a place where you can continue working with your dog?

We have tried to create the perfect setting for beginners and pros alike in the beautiful Trussy farm. We have two flocks to work on: one with calm, experienced sheep (Suffolks) for beginners, and one with more flighty ewes (Solognotes) for the advanced dogs. We have small and large fields with different obstacles and courses, a river for the dogs to cool themselves off in and a full agility course for the breaks.

 

We do not have the ambition to give formal lessons, just to support the beginner dogs' initial contacts with sheep and to give the more experienced handlers somewhere to continue the work.

For those that after the initialisation find that they and their dog would like to properly learn the basics of herding, we recommend participating in a course with a licensed instructor. We are happy to recommend some that we like to you!

 

We are located about 85 kilometres West of Paris, near the city Dreux, just off the highway N12.

We are also on walking distance from a train station.

We discuss the principles of herding and give some demos with our dogs before we try your dog on a group of friendly ewes. Why not come with some friends?
